In our Cutting Department we have 2 Lectra 7000 Automatic cutting machines (see above), both running Windows NT. On both cutters, the computer shows real time conditions of the marker being cut, as well as the command menus, which are required to operate the cutting machine.   The 2 cutters also have automatic speed adjustment, so as to avoid the fusing of different materials.  They are also both running on the Lectra CAD system.  We also have Lectra and Gerber plotters.  The 2 cutters can cut anything within a 3” vacuum (or under suction compression).  We have two people working on each cutter, one on the computer side and one on the other.  Behind each cutter we have 2 to 3 packers, depending on how big the spread, packing right off the cutter.

The newest addition to our cutting room is our Lectra Laser Cutter.
